About

Amy Luciano and Kim McLain

In September 2002, Amy Luciano and Kim McLain joined forces to create a design team that has flourished over the years from a lifelong love for decorating and design. As children, each separately spent summers transforming ordinary household items into customized versions of “The Barbie Dreamhouse”. Once they discovered this about each other, that cinched the deal for their design business partnership. The creativity that went into the design of their barbie houses, has taken them from California to Florida. Only now, the projects are full scale and are owned by real life “Kens and Barbies”.

Both Amy and Kim bring the experience of home building and high-end furniture sales to their partnership, with a design philosophy that’s simple, “Make it timeless, but with a current edge!” Their aesthetic tends to be clean-traditional, typically blending different styles in creating a unique look for each of their clients. Kim and Amy feel just as comfortable creating contemporary rooms as they do country-french, with the goal of guiding their clients to a look that is true to them.

Amy and Kim invite all their clients to “live, eat and sleep pretty.”
